Residential College

100 beds have been reserved at the Morse residential college at Yale University ($55 single, $35 double per person per night, plus optional $1.70 for linen pack). Initially, half of the reserved beds will be available only to students and the other half available only to non-students during the first two weeks of registration. After that time, any remaining beds will be open to all registrants. It may be possible to obtain more beds if demand is high. This is a gated facility accessible by a key card that will be distributed at check-in (along with suite and bedroom keys). Sleeping rooms are arranged in singles or suites of two to five bedrooms with shared bathrooms in the hallways/entryways (one or two beds per room, 4-10 people per suite, depending on which entryways are assigned to our group; some suites may have a furnished or unfurnished common room). The bathrooms are located near the doors to the suites and shared by 2-few suites. If a room-mate and/or suite-mates are not designated on your registration form, housing assignments will be based by group, age, and gender. Some designated suite-mates may or may not be housed in the same suite, depending on the available rooms and suites. Males and females will not be housed on the same floors.

Rooms are furnished with an extra-long twin bed and mattress, pillow and blanket, desk, lamp, chair, bureau, recycle bin, and waste basket for each visitor. Guests should bring their own toiletries. Suites do not have air conditioning, however, some common spaces do (i.e. basement areas, laundry, etc.). Feel free to bring a fan or if available the housing office can supply you with one.
