Who must register

Meeting participants contributing papers or posters and attending technical or symposium sessions must register.

Abstract submission

Online abstract submission opens February 15 and closes March 15. You must register to submit an abstract.

On-site registration

1:30-5:30 PM on July 15 in Becton-Davies Hall foyer of Yale University campus. Registration will also be available on Monday morning, July 16 at the MSA desk in the foyer of Becton-Davies Hall.

Registration fees

Early registration for MSA members: $350

Student registration for MSA members: $250

Late MSA member registration: $450 non-student, $350 students

Early registration for non-MSA members: $450

Note: family members/guests do not need to register for the meeting. However, if a registrant wishes to bring guests to the Welcome Reception or Banquet, extra tickets must be purchased on the registration pages. One ticket each for the Welcome Reception (including two drink tickets), a box lunch for Tuesday’s business meeting, and the Banquet/Awards/Auction (but no drink tickets) are included in registration.

Banquet

The conference banquet, awards and auction will be Wednesday, 18 July, from 7:00 to 10:00pm at the Omni Hotel, Ballrooms A, B and D.

Foray and/or Field Trips

Registration and payment for the field trips will be available during general online registration. Registrants will be able to purchase tickets to the Opening Social, Banquet and Field Trips for their family members who are not registered for the meeting. Children must be attended by a registered adult(s). Field trips are now open. Any wait-listed participants will be contacted as space becomes available. Alternatively, those with their own transportation can join us for the Foray at West Rock Ridge State Park. If you are not registered through MSA for the Foray, but wish to join us for lunch at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, register and pay for lunch through the Connecticut Valley Mycological Society/NAMA.

Meals

There is no meal plan associated with this meeting. There are many restaurants and fast food places within two blocks of campus. For example, at lunch time food carts sell Thai food and burritos two blocks from our venue.

Payment

Credit card: Online payment by credit card via a secured server is preferred. Check, money order, or purchase requisitions must be in U.S. dollars. See instructions on the registration page.

Refund Policy

To cancel your registration, you must contact Yale Conferences & Events at 203-432-0465 or confserv@yale.edu. If your cancellation request is received by June 30, 2012, we will refund all fees less $25.00. Refund requests received after June 30, 2012 will not be granted.  If you do not contact Yale Conferences & Events to cancel your registration or do not attend the event, your fees will be forfeited.
